Summer Camp Registration Packet

Summer Camp Daily Schedule:

Except on major field trip days, which may require us to be out of the building all day, a typical camp day would include:

7:00 a.m. Center Opens

7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Stations/Small Group Activities

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Gym Activity

9:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. Camp Opening

9:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Field Trips/Day Camp Activities

11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Lunch

12:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Field Trips/Day Camp Activities

3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Closing Activities

3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Snack

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Stations/Small Group Activities

6:00 p.m. Center Closes

• All campers need to be at Day Camp no later than 8:45 am. Any camper arriving late will not be permitted to stay at the Y with a different group if camp has departed to field trip destinations. Parents/Guardians may elect to drop children to field trip destination. The bus will not return for late campers nor stop at a checkpoint to admit a late camper onto the bus.

Camp Times

Before Care: 7:00 - 9:00am
Camp: 9:00am - 4:00pm
After Care: 4:00 - 6:00pm
Provided at no extra charge for children attending day camp. 

What to Bring

• Camp t-shirt
• Closed toe shoes (tennis shoes)
• Packed lunch
• Water bottle
• Backpack
• Swimsuit and towel

What Not to Bring

• Open toe shoes (flip flops)
• Crocs
• Cell phones and other electronics
• Toys from home
• Valuables
• Two Piece Bathing Suits

Dates to Remember

• First Day of Camp: June 2, 2025
• Last Day of Camp: August 15, 2025
• NO CAMP on July 4th
• Open house on May 28, 2025 from 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm

Swim Sites include:

• Riverfront YMCA Pool (544 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221)
• Wadsworth YMCA Outdoor Pool (623 School Drive, Wadsworth, OH 44281)

Transportation is provided by school busses (CF City Schools Transportation Services)

Week 5: June 30-July 4 (no camp 7/4) 

Week 6: July 7-July 11 

Week 7: July 14-July 18 

Week 8: July 21-July 25

Week 9: July 28-August 1

Week 10: August 4-August 8

Week 11: August 11-August 15

Who

SMALL FEET: 5-6 years old; entering 1st Grade
Those children entering 1st grade for the 2024 - 2025 school year must provide a statement from their school on Letterhead confirming that your child has successfully completed Kindergarten.

PIONEERS: 6-7 years old; entering 2nd Grade

EXPLORERS: 7-8 years old; entering 3rd Grade

PATHFINDERS: 8-9 years old; entering 4th Grade

TRAILBLAZERS: 10-12 years old; entering 5th+ Grade

Cost

$40 nonrefundable registration fee/ then $190/week for Y members $210/week for non-Y members
