Let's Roar at the Akron Zoo!

March 13, 2019

Join us at ZooCamp this summer as we celebrate the opening of our new exhibit, Pride of Africa. We have camps for kids of all ages, with Early Childhood ZooCamp for kids age 2-5 and with ZooCamp for kids age 5-15.

Early Childhood ZooCamps are divided into camps for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds. 2-3 year old camps are 1-1/2 hours long and 4-5 year olds camps are 2 hours long. Children for these camps will enjoy free play, a short guided tour, a snack, a song, an animal encounter, and a craft. Cost of camp includes one adult caregiver and one child. Children outside of the age groups cannot be accommodated.

ZooCamps are for 5-15 year olds and have half day and full day offerings. All 5-15 year old camps include a tour of the zoo, a chance to meet zoo staff and animal keepers, animal encounters, a t-shirt, a daily snack, a photo of your ZooCamper’s experience, and a take home craft. For full day camps we offer before care, after care, and meal deals for an additional fee. Cost of camp includes one child per registration.
