This holiday season Macaroni Kid North Akron is holding a Pajama and Book drive to benefit the Pajama Program Eastern Ohio Chapter located in Akron. This program collects and distributes new pajamas and new books to children ages newborn to 17 who are in need and who live in foster care, group homes or shelters. The Eastern Ohio Chapter serves 33 receiving organizations within the eastern portion of the state.
How you can help: please bring a NEW warm pair of pajamas and/or a NEW book, for children ages newborn to 17 (there is a greater need for the older kids), to one of the following drop-off locations between November 25 and December 10:
• The UPS Store, 114 Barrington Town Square Drive, Aurora
• The Little Gym of Twinsburg, 8922 Darrow Road, Twinsburg
• Simply Swank Salon & Spa, 5951 Darrow Road, Hudson
• The UPS Store, 1675 East Main Street, Kent
• M.C. Hair Consultants, 833 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls
If you drop-off at either UPS Store location listed above, you will receive a $1 off coupon on any holiday mailing with UPS.
In addition, we have partnered with Usborne Books and More. Just shop online at www.myubam.com/BF49983 before December 5, and your holiday purchases will help the Pajama Program receive FREE books.
